Made from purdy hand dyed wool that I bought from the markets last weekend. Good news is that I have enough wool left over to make a second one to sell! Hooray for wool, and money, and…stuff!!

…because they had their fibre festival on Sunday. That’s fibre as in wool and fabric and stuff, and NOT what you were probably thinking 
I bought up BIG on spun and un-spun wool, and now have more wool than I really know what to do with.
…in other news, I have currently in my washing machine a really fugly 80’s style woolen jumper, in pieces that should felt up into a funky bag. Plus an experiment into felted jewellery…will keep you posted, all 2 of you that seem to read this blog
Also I plan to cut out the bits for my upcycled cap. I think I am developing a hat fetish…

I *heart* this hat so much, I stayed up till midnight in an effort to finish it. Overall it took probably 3 hours to make. I think I could make them with contrasting bands.

Made from hand spun and dyed boucle yarn from the Bus Depot markets, with a pretty white flower from Spotlight. Oh, yeah.

I have taken up circle loom knitting. Which is the same as french knitting, except it sounds less fruity.
I decided to make a hat on the weekend and found a good pattern. Found some funky wool too.
Hat has just been finished, and it actually looks good.
…Except that it would fit a toddler well, and not me. Knew I should have added that extra 20 rows.
