I wish to make a public apology to every teacher I ever had for calling them by ‘Miss’ or ‘Sir’.
It’s funny how karma works. I’m a teacher myself now and I get called ‘Miss’. I freaking hate it.
Anyways…back to the random quote of the day. I had a student poke his head around the door of my staffroom and ask me:
“Excuse me Miss, have you seen Miss?”
There is something to be said about actually learning your teacher’s names. However if I say it I will probably explode. I’m not sure if it will be with laughter or frustration.
